The study about the Priestly Tradition of Israel is still in its inception, because, for historcial reasons, we developed a poor understanding about it. Now, in light of the discoveries made from the 20th Century on, we have much more material claiming to be comprehended in its own context: that of the Levites and their role in the Ancient Hebrew society.
