In my view, religion is love. It is basically the only area of human activity in which we explore Transcendence, Mystery, the Divine – and the confrontation of these with our mortal condition, finite but, at the same time, infinite in our feelings, thoughts, and knowledge. That is why religion is so present in our lives and plays such a preponderant role in the existence of most people—even though the statistics of our days see fluctuations in this and indicate an increasing growth of atheism.
It turns out that atheism is not exactly the opposite of religion or faith. It just fails to explore this area of transcendence—so they continue to exist sovereign in their own business, which is to deal with it, rather than not deal with it.
People feel love when they read their books, when they retell their stories, when they meditate on their myths. And this, much more than whether it is “true” or not, gives us the possibility of experiencing a side of life that, for some people, has a very strong calling.
I am one of those people. But I also really like History, Geography, Archaeology, Politics, Literature, Anthropology, Geopolitics, and even religions other than my own. It was with this in mind that I decided to start studying biblical texts through these disciplines, taking religious discourse out of the focus in order to try to find the voice of the texts, of the biblical author, of their time and context. And the most interesting thing is that, although the text read in this way, in what I consider to be closer to its context, contradicts the religious discourse on numerous occasions, especially because the latter always comes after the former, the encounter with Transcendence, in my opinion, always finds a way to appear... because that was what the biblical author really wanted to convey, I believe.
And all of this makes the encounter with the Sacred Text even more beautiful and loving.
Tanakh (BIble)
This is the key-series around which all the others revolve: the study of the Bible with the aim of understanding its context, trying to see why the biblical author said this, omitted that, what they saw in this scene that they wanted to convey to us, etc.
The Women
This topic seems very interesting to me, especially because in-depth study of the Bible has always yielded more analyses of the male universe, which is the one mostly described in the texts. However, what does appear about the female universe is, more often than not, surprising to our generation and even chalenges our thinking about morality and the social role of women in Antiquity.
Para-Bible
I call Para-Bible the Hebrew texts that were not included in the canon of the Tanakh (Hebrew Bible) but were somehow preserved by the Jewish People or others, such as the apocrypha, pseudepigrapha, rabbinic literature etc. I consider that this pairing between the two corpi literarii illuminates the canonical text in a particularly interesting way.
Archetypes
I have developed the idea that the archetypes found in the Bible shape the psychic thinking of Jews, whether they realize it or not, and that re-examining this theme as such can help to write a truly new chapter in our long history.

BIBLE
Preparations
Here, the proposal is to offer conscious support for a good preparation for the festivities in our calendar. Therefore, there is always a “Preparation” available before any religious celebration.
Foundations of Judaism
This series aims to explore some of the main meanings of being Jewish, using a bit of my experience as a shelichat tzibur (religious officiant) and my own journey within Judaism, from my approach to conversion and later to my career choice within the religion. The work is not a conversion course per se, but it also provides a solid foundation for those who would like to follow this path. The formats are varied.
